This summary report provides the analysis of the diversity profile of the further education and skills sector workforce in England. It covers staff in further education (FE) colleges, independent training providers and adult and community learning (ACL) organisations. Independent training providers are categorised as work-based learning providers (WBL). This report also looks at diversity challenges facing the further education and skills sector. It does this by examining and analysing changes over the years since LSIS came into operation and took on the lead for the equality, diversity and inclusion remit from its predecessors.
