Frequently Asked Questions

The NIGB Office receives many queries from individuals wishing to make a complaint because of their concerns about how their personal information is used or about a combination of concerns about how their information has been used and the care they have received. It is not within the NIGB’s remit to deal with individual complaints so we can only advise about the complaints procedures available. Because of the numerous queries we have received we have developed this Q & A document about the routes available to people who wish to make a complaint.

How do i make a complaint about how my information has been used?
