SCR Deployment Map

The Summary Care Record (SCR) deployment tool identifies every GP practice in England and their status in providing SCRs to their patients. Please see the important information below

GP Practices are grouped according to regional area to reduce download times. Only one area can be selected at a time. To view practices within an area select the appropriate area from the drop-own menu box. The map will show the GP practice location and SCR status using a colour coded system. The sites are marked with a coloured icon as follows:

 - GP practice has not started any Summary Care Record activity

 - GP practice has written to patients about the Summary Care Record

 - GP practice has plans to provide Summary Care Records

 - GP practice provides Summary Care Records

Clicking on an icon will show the practice name and provide links to more information.

You can zoom in and out and scroll over the map using the controls and arrows in the top left-hand corner of the screen. If you wish to view a different area simply select the area as before from the drop-down menu list at the top of the screen.

Please note that some practices in grey have not commenced SCR activity because they may not have a compliant SCR clinical computer system or have the necessary business processes in place.

The information in the deployment map is correct as at 1 March 2013.

Download times vary depending on the browser and internet connection you are using. Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 does not support the SCR Google Maps tool.

Whilst every effort has been taken to ensure that the information provided is accurate, no responsibility is accepted for any errors or omissions. The information is provided to inform the public and to assist NHS planning. It is recommended that users verify the data before making decisions based upon it.

The icons show the approximate location of the sites rather than the exact locations. Some icons may conceal a second icon beneath where the sites are close or co-located.
