These statistics report on NHS performance and outcomes and are derived from data provided by NHS organisations in response to officially licenced data collections.

Accident and Emergency Waiting Times & Activity
A&E performance and activity for all A&E types, including Minor Injury Units and Walk-in Centres.

Patient Experience

These statistics report on the experience of patients provided in response to official patient surveys.

General Practice Patient Survey
The GP patient survey provides information to patients, GP practices and Commissioning organisations on a range of aspects of patients’ experience of their GP services and other local primary care services.

General Practice Patient Survey: Dental Results
This additional information, based on people’s reported experience, are used to assess whether PCTs were meeting the local demand for NHS dentistry.

Patient Experience Overall Measure
The statistics use responses that NHS patients gave in the wide-ranging National Patient Survey Programme to calculate a set of scores to measure patient views on the care they receive. The patient experience survey include results from the Adult Outpatient survey, inpatient services, Mental Health, A&E and PCT.
