In September 2003 the Government produced a booklet entitled “Every Child Matters” which explained what the government wanted to do to make things better for children and young people in England.
This document contains the questions raised in that publication, and summarises the replies. The responses are presented as charts for ease of reference, with quotations illustrating typical responses. The document also lists the government’s plans for the future, which have been developed in response to the consultation.
