The per pupil funding includes three separate real term time series: 1) revenue only, 2) revenue and capital, and 3) capital only. The revenue data cover education formula funding plus all school related revenue grants in the DfE Departmental Expenditure Limit across all publicly funded school pupils aged 3-19. The capital figures draw on capital budgets across all maintained school pupils aged 3-19. Between 2004-05 and 2010-11 total revenue and capital funding per pupil has increased by £1,290 (26 percent) in real terms.
