Explanation of the differences between two sets of criminal offences statistics.

This release helps explain the differences between the measures of first time entrants aged 10-17 to the criminal justice system statistics found at "DCSF: First-time Entrants Aged 10-17 to the Criminal Justice System in England, 2000-01 to 2007-08" and offences brought to justice statistics which are contained in the criminal statistics 2007 publication.

This does not contain any new statistics but pulls together the summary data from the two aforementioned publications.
