This Statistical First Release contains final national results for the Foundation Stage Profile (FSP) assessments for 2006. The SFR is the fourth in an annual series of Statistics and updates the provisional 2006 statistics published in SFR42/2006 in October 2006. The SFR was scheduled for release in February 2007, but has been brought forward because of the earlier availabilty of the final data. This Release will show the percentage of children achieving each point on the 13 FSP assessment scales. For the first time, the Statistical Release will show the extent of the inequality gap in attainment between children resident in the most deprived areas and the rest of England.
