These are four new releases prepared and published by the DfES for the Neighbourhood Statistics Service (NeSS). The tables provide details about the final 2004 Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 National Curriculum Assessment results for pupils attending maintained schools in England. The tables show the number of eligible pupils and the percentage of pupils, including gender splits, achieving the expected level or above in English, Mathematics and Science respectively. Included for the first time for 2004 are the average point scores per pupil and the KS1-KS2 and KS2-KS3 value added measures and value added coverage indicators. The information is based on the geographic locations of educational institution and pupil residence in England and Regional, Local Authority District (LAD) and middle and lower Super Output Area (SOA) breakdowns are available.

Once published this information will be available within the Education, Skills and Training domain on the Neighbourhood Statistics web site and will complement the final LA and Local Authority District level 2004 Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 results previously published by the DfES.
