This Statistical First Release will update the information published in SFR30/2005 published on 23 August 2005 with final data on the achievements of 7 year olds in the 2005 National Curriculum Assessments.
The Achievement of 7 year olds will be based on teacher assessment results as schools are only required to report teacher assessment results, underpinned by test/task results, to the Department. These results for 7 year old pupils provide the first indication of progress in key stage subjects.
