Student Support for Higher Education in England and Wales: Academic Year 2005/06 (Provisional) [Prepared and published by the Student Loans Company in consultation with DfES statisticians]

This is an update to SLC SFR 01/2004, published November 2004, giving an extra academic year worth of data. Data will be published on an England and Wales basis only instead of previously published UK level data.

The table on the repayment of student loans included in SLC SFR 01/2004 will not be included here as it was published earlier this year in SLC SFR 02/2005. [Prepared and published by the Student Loans Company in consultation with DfES statisticians]

Please note that Table 4 of this SFR inadvertently omitted the word "provisional" from 2004/05 data when published on 29 November. This was corrected, and the table re-published, also on 29 November.

Additionally, the "average value of loan" column in Table 4 was initially calculated on rounded data. This has been corrected to show "average value of loan" based on detailed data. The table was republished on 05/01/2006.
