This SFR publishes the 2004 absence figures for the first time. This SFR will contain the same information as last year with authorised and unauthorised absence data shown to 2 decimal places. There will be statistics of authorised, unauthorised and total absences in maintained primary and maintained secondary schools analysed by LEA and Government Office regions, together with a time series by main school types for all absences, authorised and unauthorised absences.
