Proposed Publication of National Curriculum Assessments of 7 year olds in England, 2004

This Statistical First Release will not contain any 2004 data. However, it will set out what statistics are proposed for publication this summer, given that a trial is taking place in some LEAs at Key Stage 1, where just teacher assessments are being submitted to the Department. For the non-trial LEAs, they will continue to submit both test/task and teacher assessments. Because of this mix of results, this SFR is being published in order to be as open as possible about how the statistics from this exercise will be published. The SFR will therefore provide templates of the proposed tables at both national and LEA level
