National Curriculum Assessments for Key Stage 3 (Revised), GCSE/GNVQ Examination Results (Provisional) and Associated Value Added Measures, for Young People in England 2001-02

This Release updates the Key Stage 3 information contained in the SFRs issued on 17 October 2002 National Curriculum Assessments of 7, 11 and 14 Year Olds (Provisional) (SFR 25/2002) and GCSE/GNVQ Examination Results of Young People in England, 2001/02 (Early Statistics) (SFR 26/2002). It also provides for the first time information on Key Stage 2 - Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 3 - GCSE/GNVQ value added measures. The information in this SFR is based on the data which underpin the secondary school performance tables. The figures in Table 3 for all maintained schools were revised on February 25 2003.

Final figures for 2001/02 have been added as Additional Tables. The results in these tables update the figures in SFR 01/2003, taking account of any amendments notified by secondary schools and agreed since publication of the secondary performance tables in January 2003.
