This new Statistical First Release will contain figures showing energy and water benchmarks for maintained primary and secondary schools in England. The figures relate to 1999-00 and 2000-01. The information will be used by several different organisations - including the Building Research Establishment Energy Conservation Support Unit and the Office for Government Commerce and Procurement as well as schools and LEAs.
