This web site allows users to access school level data and area data about education.
The school level data has been derived from information collected in the School Census and provides information for Maintained Nursery, Maintained Primary, Maintained Secondary (including CTCs and Academies), Maintained and Non-Maintained Special, Independent and Independent Special schools, and Pupil Referral Units. Users will be able to find data for schools in several ways including by name, by postcode and by Local Authority.
The area data is available at five geographies: Parliamentary constituency, Ward, Local Authority Disctict, Local Authority, and Region. England figures are also provided. The area information available within the web site is grouped in a number of broad categories including:
