New Deal for Young People and Long-Term Unemployed People: Statistics to September 1998

The figures in this Statistical First Release include data for those joining New Deal up to the end of September 1998, the sixth month in which it operated nationally. For comparative purposes, it also includes tables covering the Pathfinder areas only.

From 1 August 2001 onwards New Deal Statistical releases will be published on the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) web site. New Deal Statistical First Releases published before 1 August 2001 will continue to be available on this site.
