This week the Department sent information to all heads, principals and governors of schools and sixth form colleges to help them plan and implement changes taking place this academic year, including mandatory legal requirements. It also included a 'myths and facts' document addressing misconceptions about what schools are required to do, and clarifying where burdens and prescription have been lifted.
