Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP)
The day-to day management of KTP is contracted out and that contract is scheduled for renewal at the end of September 2009.
The KTP Management Board recently decided that due to the rapidly changing economic and business climate and planned growth in the scheme an independent review of the scheme should be undertaken first. The last one was published in 2001. This review will consider the operational and economic aspects of the programme, including value for money for the stakeholders and participants.
The issuing the Invitation To Tender (ITT) has therefore been rescheduled for the first quarter of 2010 so that the review can be completed and a full assessment of the operational and cost structure can be undertaken.
