The NHS Constitution sets out in one place what patients, staff and the public can expect from the NHS.
The Government wants to strengthen the NHS Constitution and has published proposals on how to do this. You can comment on these proposals in a public consultation.
The proposals reflect the advice given to the Secretary of State by the NHS Future Forum. As part of preparing their advice, Future Forum chair Professor Steve Field and other Future Forum members used this blog to explain what the NHS Constitution means to them and to get people’s views.
