    Every “right” implies a “responsibility”.
The current Constitution is full of “firm” rights and “woolly” responsibilities and the balance needs to be subtly changed.
At the moment the only people that appear to use it do so to methaphorically beat staff up. This is the wrong use of such a document.
Care, dignity and respect is a two way street not a one way street.
Every patient has a right to be treated with dignity and respect and to receive the safe, high quality care. In return, every staff member has a right to be treated with respect and dignity by patients, relatives and/or carers.
