Immunisation publications
This statement has been authorised by the Department of Health Gateway: reference number 15999
Whilst the Department has provided translations for several public-facing documents in the past, it has, at the same time encouraged translated materials to be produced at the local level where the unique cultural needs of the local population are known and understood and are dealt with by health or social care professionals working in those communities. Alongside this, the Department has encouraged PCTs to share their translated materials with other PCTs who have similar ethnic populations where particular translations would be useful. The Department uploads fully accessible pdfs of its immunisation publications here so up-to-date information can be provided locally in the required languages either by translation software or by specialist agencies.
