StayPrivate.org

Stayprivate

Reduce cold calls & unwanted mail for free.

StayPrivate.org simplifies the process of signing up for the Direct Marketing Association’s opt-out services by using a single form to submit to multiple services. This makes registering quicker and more attractive as evidenced by the popularity of the site – it has accrued over 20,000 registrations in the three months since launch.

Users can create accounts to store their information, making it easy to make changes to their details and resubmit to all services with one click. The site also notifies members when registrations are due to expire to ensure that they remain subscribed for as long as required.

More opt-out channels will be added in the near future to make StayPrivate.org even more useful.

  1. Lately I have begun receiving a lot of spam and silent/unwanted telephone calls.
Is there anything you can do to stop this?

  2. Hi Dilys,
Thanks for your comment. If you haven’t yet signed up to StayPrivate.org, I recommend you do. This will submit you to the Mail and Telephone Preference Services which will hopefully reduce the amount of mail/calls you get. You might also want to take a look at the guide from Money Saving Expert on how to tackle silent calls.
