Following the change of government we are reviewing all content on this website.
The National Tenant Voice (NTV) has been established (from April 2010) in order that tenants can influence national policy through working with Government and other bodies. It will seek the views of tenants through a variety of means (for example policy forums and road shows) and may carry out research into the experiences of tenants.
The NTV is made up of a National Tenant Council (NTC) of 50 tenants and a Board of 15. The NTC act as a sounding board on housing policy issues, and was formed to reflect as closely as possible the profile of social housing tenants. Some members were nominated by existing tenants' organisations; others recruited following an open recruitment process.
The Board includes 9 tenant members (from which a Chair has been selected ), drawn from the NTC and 6 non tenant members recruited through an open process.
