UK LANDSCAPE AWARD 2010 : DISCOVERING GREAT PLACES
RNRP WINNER, EAST MIDLANDS REGION
The River Nene Regional Park (RNRP) a community interest company has been selected as the winner for the East Midlands Region of the UK Landscape Award 2010. The RNRP continues to champion green spaces in Northamptonshire and the East Midlands.
Christopher Davidge, Chairman of the RNRP, said:
"I am delighted that RNRP's partnership working in Northamptonshire has been recognised by the UK Landscape Award judges. Our work ranges from strategic environmental planning across the county, landscape scale initiatives such as the Nene Valley Strategic Plan, to working with partners and landowners on the development and delivery of projects on the ground , whether larger scale attractions such as Salcey Forest Tree Top Walk and Northampton Marina or more local community based projects."
The award was judged on categories including sustainability and community engagement.
