This area of the website is intended to provide information on the implementation of Green Infrastructure projects based on projects currently being carried out across the East Midlands Green Infrastructure Network. Providing acess to the experiences and events encountered as these projects progress helps the dissemination of information throughout the network, which EMGIN encourages.

ROCKINGHAM FOREST FOR LIFE, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE The regeneration of the Rockingham Forest will raise awareness of a wide range of environmental and related issues and be fully supported locally. By 2025, the Forest for Life will be nationally recognised as an exemplar climate change initiative for the regeneration of the Rockingham Forest. |

REVITAL-ISE, KETTERING NORTHAMPTONSHIRE Revital-ISE is a partnership project that has been launched to improve biodiversity, access, recreation and leisure in the area, encouraging the local communities' involvement. |

NORTHAMPTON MARINA AT BECKETS PARK A new marina is due to be created in Becket's Park in Northampton. The project will be carried out in a number of phases, and the wider project will bring 82 permanent and a number of visitor moorings to the disused rowing lake. |

CHALK STREAMS OF LINCOLNSHIRE The Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Project (LCSP) is a partnership which aims to protect and enhance the threatened chalk stream habitat throughout the Wolds. It was established in 2004 and brings together the expertise of the Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service (LWCS), Environment Agency, Anglian Water, Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, Natural England and Wild Trout Trust. |

NEW VISITOR CENTRE AT STANWICK LAKES The new visitor centre at Stanwick Lakes countryside attraction and nature reserve in Northamptonshire is now open to the public and attracting thousands of visitors. Its iconic design combined with its use of the latest 'green' technologies have made it an award-winning landmark building. |

THE EREWASH VALLEY TRAIL PROJECT A partnership project to deliver over £500,000 of environmental improvements over the next two years. This exciting project is based on the formation of a walking and cycling trail, but it will also deliver major benefits for wildlife, encourage healthy living and help to connect local communities. |
