Summary
To inform work to produce updated aviation forecasts, DfT commissioned the University of Westminster to produce this report to:
- Review the evidence of how the air travel market is maturing both in the UK and elsewhere;
- Investigate how, other organisations producing aviation forecasts reflect market maturity in their forecasts; and
- Provide recommendations on how the Department could modify its aviation forecasting methods to better reflect the impact of greater market maturity in future.
