Pensions Reform update – 9 March 2012
The Government has confirmed that discussion have now concluded with the Civil Service unions on details for a new Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme to be introduced from 2015.

Government response to the consultation on proposed increases to employee contributions
The Government has announced changes to the contribution rates that some civil servants will pay to their civil service pension from April 2012. Lower earners will be protected from any increase.
