Archived Regional Development Agency information

In accordance with Government policy all Regional Development Agencies ceased operations on 31st March 2012.

Prior to closure, RDAs transferred a range of assets, liabilities, functions and activities, including ongoing project responsibilities, to other public sector bodies.

The BIS web pages on RDAs, explaining their funding and the way that their Boards were structured etc. can be found on The National Archive.

Each RDA had its own corporate site and for historical access (none of these sites or the information they contain is live or up to date) you can view these old websites on the The National Archive.

You can view the portfolio of land and property assets and liabilities that RDAs transferred to the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
