Staff
The department has around 2,500 staff.
In addition, around 500 people work for UK Trade & Investment in the UK.
Our network of partner organisations includes nine executive agencies employing around 14,500 staff.
Ministers
Our Secretary of State is Rt Hon Dr Vince Cable MP, supported by a team of Ministers.
Management team
Our Permanent Secretary is Martin Donnelly, supported by a senior management team.
Budget
The department's budget for 2011/12 is £17.6 billion reducing to £14.6 billion by 2014/15 under the Spending Review.
Locations
Our staff locations include London, Sheffield, Billingham, Cardiff, Darlington, Glasgow, Manchester, Nottingham, Runcorn and Watford.

The department is structured into eight management groups:
