Freedom of Information
This page tells you how to request information from us under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
The Act gives you the right to request information held by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI). You can view the Act online at the Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI) website.

Making a request
Any person of any nationality has the right to request access to information held by us. You can request information of any age and for any purpose. All recorded information held by UKTI is covered by the Act.

Freedom of Information Publication Scheme
The Freedom of Information Act requires us to tell members of the pubic how they can find information that is routinely made available. More information about this requirement can be found on the Information Commissioner’s Office website.
UKTI publishes the majority of its information on our website - www.ukti.gov.uk. If the information is not available via the website you can request it under the Freedom of Information Act. See making a request.
