In 2010 UK exports of goods to Taiwan were £1.05 billion. This is up 40% on 2009, compared with an average increase for UK exports to Asia Pacific markets of 25%. Export of services for 2010 are unlikely to be less than the 2009 figure of £670m and possibly higher. The total UK exports to Taiwan in 2010 exceeded £1.7 billion. This was the UK’s highest ever figure of total exports to Taiwan.
