London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games

The economic benefits to the region of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games could exceed £600 million*.

Companies in the East of England could secure up to five to ten per cent of the overall £9 billion to be generated from business opportunities* - with up to an estimated £380 million for the taking.

The race for contracts is underway, so get in the running with CompeteFor - the website for publication of Games-related contracts, and the only place where East of England SMEs can bid for London 2012 business opportunities.

There are three simple steps:

  • Register your company on CompeteFor
  • Post a detailed profile of your business
  • Then, visit the website to look for opportunities, or wait for buyers to approach you.

The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) and London Organising Committee (LOCOG) expect to allocate over £6bn of work as part of an estimated 75,000 future business opportunities covering direct contractors and their supply chains. All but the biggest are still up for grabs - so register today.
