Tropicana UK Ltd recalls batch of Tropicana Smooth Style Orange Juice

Tropicana UK Ltd has recalled a batch of Tropicana Smooth Style Orange Juice due to an unpleasant smell and taste. The Food Standards Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.

- Time stamp: Any time between 03:20 and 04:00
No other Tropicana products or batch codes are known to be affected.
The withdrawal is a direct result of two calls from consumers to the company. These complaints were of a similar nature, reporting an unusual smell on opening the product and an 'off' taste if drunk.
Tropicana UK Ltd has issued a point-of-sale notice, which advises consumers who have bought the affected product to phone the company's freephone helpline for a full refund. The freephone number is: 0800 032 4460.
