ACAF to hold open meeting in Llandudno

The next meeting of the Advisory Committee on Animal Feedingstuffs (ACAF) will be held in open session at the St George’s Hotel in Llandudno on Friday 5 June 2009, commencing at 9.30am.
ACAF is a committee of independent experts which advises on the safety and use of animal feed and feeding practices, with particular emphasis on protecting human health and with reference to new technical developments and new feed materials.
This meeting is an opportunity for interested parties and members of the public to observe how this Government advisory committee operates, and to follow the debate on a range of animal feed issues.
To attend, places must be booked in advance. A registration form, which can be found via the link below, must be returned by email to: raj.pal@foodstandards.gsi.gov.uk by Wed 27 May. A draft agenda can be found on the ACAF website (see link below).
