The public will wish to be aware that Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd is recalling one date code of Sainsbury’s Belgian Wholenut Dark Chocolate due to possible contamination with pieces of hard plastic.
The implicated product mentioned below is being recalled from consumers. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all stores. These notices alert customers to the recall and advise them of what actions to take if they have purchased the product. A copy of the point-of-sale notice is attached to this food alert.
The product recalled is:
Sainsbury's Belgian Wholenut Dark Chocolate 200g
Best before: 17/09/10
No other Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd products are known to be affected.
