Mrs Amanda O'Donoghue

Glasgow based Amanda O’Donoghue has worked in the food industry in both manufacturing and retailing for over ten years. Her experience spans most product sectors, most recently bakery, where she headed up the New Product Development and Technical team at Enterprise Foods. Mrs O’Donoghue graduated from the University of Leeds with a BSc (Hons) in Food Science (European) that included a research project at ENS.BANA, Dijon, France.
She started her career with a small family craft bakery that supplied its own shops, and then moved to a large frozen dessert manufacturer that supplied the UK supermarkets. She moved into the retail sector spending several years working as a Technical Manager at two of the UK’s major supermarkets, roles that have involved contact with a broad range of small and medium sized suppliers.
