Manor Bakeries recalls batches of Mr Kipling Mince Pies

Manor Bakeries has recalled certain batches of Mr Kipling Mince Pies because of the possible presence of pieces of food-grade rubber within the product. The Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.
Manor Bakery has undertaken a product recall of all the affected batches. Product recall notices appeared in the national press on 1 and 2 December 2007*. The notice tells the public the reason for the recall and that customers can get a refund voucher by returning the packaging end flap showing the traceability code to:

Product details:
The affected products are:
- Mr Kipling 6 in a box, bearing the following production codes (located directly below the 'Best Before' date): 235, 239, 253, 254, 259, 260, 261 or 262
No other production codes of Mr Kipling Mince Pies are known to be affected.
