Hygiene pack for Scottish food retailers launched

Two new resources are available for businesses in Scotland to help them comply with food hygiene legislation that came into force on 1 January 2006.
RetailSafe
RetailSafe has been designed for retailers handling unwrapped high-risk foods, and is a pack based upon the CookSafe model already in use by caterers.
e-CookSafe
e-CookSafe was developed as an additional e-learning support to the hard copy CookSafe manual. It provides resources for caterers to refresh their knowledge of food safety and food safety management systems, to build their own HACCP-based food safety management system based on CookSafe, as well as templates for operating the CookSafe management system.
