The Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR) has launched a consultation on a new model to create a single admissions process for postgraduate teacher training courses.

The Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA) has recently (on 16 November) launched a new service, Premier Plus, for prospective trainee teachers in maths, physics, chemistry or modern foreign languages (MFL). To be eligible for the service, individuals must have a secured or predicted 2:2 degree classification or higher, and intend to start their training course in the academic year 2012/13.
