Senior management team
The senior management team comprises of five staff who support the work of the Board. The dedicated team includes a number of key specialists, who provide vital technical, logistical and management skills.

Tim LeslieInterim Chief Executive/Director of RegulationTim’s career to date has focused on financial services, and he brings first hand experience of risk management, the design and operation of business and computing controls, and performance monitoring and reporting. Read more

Steve BarrowClosure Programme ManagerWith more than 16 years experience in a variety of senior regulatory roles, Steve joined Standards for England as Director of Standards in August 2009. Following the announcement of the proposed closure of Standards for England in October 2010, Steve took over the role of Closure Programme Manager, working collaboratively with the Chief Executive and Head of Strategic Relations to co-ordinate the strategic management of the organisation and its approach to closure as determined by the Department for Communities and Local Government (CLG). Paul HoeyHead of Strategic RelationsPaul joined Standards for England in 2001 on secondment from central Government to help with its setup and became a permanent member of staff later that year. He is in charge of managing our key relationships with Whitehall, Parliament and national political representatives. He is also responsible for supporting the chairman, Board members and Chief Executive in their external-facing roles and for management of Board meetings. He also manages the Board’s finances.
