Child poverty partnership work

To take forward CWDCs work within the wider context of reducing child poverty and addressing disadvantage, CWDC is working with partners to build on work and share knowledge and resources.

Child poverty communities of practice forum (CoP)

The child poverty communities of practice forum (CoP) is an interactive platform for online problem-solving, peer-support and information sharing for those working to tackle and prevent child poverty. This is a free resource with over 700 members and contains guidance on policy, best practice, features case studies and links to more online resources. It contains an extensive library of local child poverty needs assessments, consultations and strategies which local areas have shared.

All CWDC child poverty products are on the CoP library.

Child poverty core offer of support partnership

This group aims to support the prevention and tackling of child poverty at local level through sharing the findings of independent research. It offers a forum to post comments and have discussions on the CoP and feedback from sub-national child poverty networks. This is in response to the changing types of support required as local areas move from carrying out a needs assessment to producing and delivering a local child poverty strategy. CWDC is a member of this group.
