Putting things right - data services

If you are unhappy with the way that we have provided a data service then please contact our data services team who will try to put things right for you or if this isn't possible will explain the reasons why. You can email the team at commercial.services@landregistry.gsi.gov.uk

We expect that most problems will be resolved by simply getting in touch with our data sales team. But if you are still unhappy at this stage, please ask the team to pass on your concerns to our corporate lawyer. He will review what has been said and let you know what he thinks can be done.

If you find that you are not satisfied by what the corporate lawyer has said then you may contact the Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI) who will look at what has been said so far, and who will give you an independent view.

If you are still unhappy, you may contact the Advisory Panel on Public Sector Information (APPSI) who will look afresh at your concerns and let you have its view.

You may at any time take your concerns to court but this is costly, whereas a review by OPSI or APPSI is free.

For more information about OPSI please visit its website: www.opsi.gov.uk
