Farexchange was launched by Yorkshire Forward in 2007 and helps businesses to become more competitive.

Summary

Farexchange is a Supply Chain Development Programme which helps Yorkshire and Humber businesses operating in the food supply chain to improve their competitiveness and efficiency through working in collaboration with their suppliers and customers.

Farexchange helps business through:

  • Identifying new markets for farmers and food companies and helps Yorkshire and Humber businesses exploit these new opportunities.
  • Encouraging farmers, growers and food companies to find new ways of working together to secure supply and ensure the sustainability and growth of the Yorkshire and Humber farming and food industry.
  • Improving the effectiveness and efficiency of your supply chains, by vertical collaboration to achieve savings at each link in the chain.
  • Raising the capability of those in the food and farming sector to achieve business improvements through developing skills in business management, leadership, marketing and supply chain logistics.
