Great Yorkshire Show

Yorkshire Forward’s aim is to ensure rural areas remain vibrant and diverse.

A dynamic rural economy is as essential to the region as it is to the social fabric of our rural communities. The Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) runs from 2007-2013 and means we are able to invest £65 million in our region over these six years.

This years Great Yorkshire Show will take place between 13th to the 15th July,

During the this three day event Forward will be promoting the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) under the banner of ‘Support for Business’.

Several recipients of RDPE grant funding will be exhibiting on the stand to show how the RDPE has helped them. The companies include Choc Affair, Yorkshire Fine Cheese Ltd, the Gluten Free Kitchen and Holmfirth Vineyard.

In addition we have invited our partner organisations who deliver RDPE services to businesses to have a presence on the stand during the three days.  These organizations include Business Link, CO2 Sense, Share to FarmFarexchnage, LandSkills, PBEX and Growing Routes.

Visitors to the Show will have a chance to see these business successes of the grant scheme as well as identify future opportunities available for their own business ideas.
