Our policies for achieving economic growth
Yorkshire Forward has one core objective: to grow the economy of Yorkshire & Humber. Within that, there are particular things we want to do—such as attracting more investment from overseas, or making sure more people are in work.
But how will we actually achieve these objectives? The answer is laid out in our range of 11 policy programmes. Under each of these, we have decided what we want to do (in terms of activities, investments and interventions), who we’ll work with, when and where we’ll focus our efforts, and how we will measure our success.
These policy programmes are fairly long and complex, but they are summarised for you in this section.
