Victims and witnesses are at the heart of the criminal justice system and we take our duties to victims and witnesses very seriously. Being fair and being seen to be fair are the cornerstones of everything we do. We aim to be transparent in what we do and keep you informed of our decisions.

A new section has been launched on the website to let the public know about the excellent work our lawyers, caseworkers and support staff do on a daily basis.
We consult with the public, community groups, the voluntary sector and other agencies about the way we do our work. You can help us to be better informed, fairer and more representative by participating in our consultations.
