Transition from the Early Years Foundation Stage to Key Stage 1

This survey will evaluate and report on the effectiveness of transition from the Early Years Foundation Stage to primary education and the impact it has on pupils’ achievement in Key Stage 1.

It will report on the characteristics of transition that are most effective in promoting pupils’ achievement, and provide detailed examples of successful practice that lead to improved outcomes.
