Assessing the Impact of Investment in
Leadership Training

Main Document 0.27 MB

There has been significant investment in leadership programmes for the museum,
library and archive sector and the wider cultural sector in recent years.

Right Angle Management were commissioned in August 2008 by MLA East
Midlands to investigate the individual and organisational impact of investment in
leadership training across the museums libraries and archives in the region. In
addition Right Angle was asked to make recommendations regarding maximisation
of future investment.

A questionnaire and a series interviews were used to gain insight into the
motivations for attending courses and the outcomes and impact of the training.
