This document sets out the main formal publication arrangements for research funded by the Department for Transport. These arrangements are consistent both with the Publication Scheme that the Department is required to have under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and with the general presumption that research results and other evidence collected and used in the course of the Department’s business should be made available to broaden knowledge and better inform discussion.
